The Function
Room in the Aldenham Social Club is available to hire for a full
range of events. All staff are included in the cost of hiring the
room. Due to licensing laws the person hiring the function room is
required to become a member of the club however the cost of this is
included in the room hire for your first years membership, plus it
also means all your guests will benefit from the reduced bar prices
maintained as a member club.
The function room with it's own dedicated bar, stage and restrooms
provides the ideal location for that family gathering for a special
occasion or venue for any society meeting.
The club is also happy to help with any catering requirements where
possible if you don't already have your own plans in place.
As with all Function room hire there are terms and conditions,

CONDITIONS OF HALL HIRE
The following are a list of conditions under which Aldenham
Social Club Limited (the Club) agrees to hire the hall to the
person named on the attached booking form, and to which the person
booking agrees to be bound.
The current cost of
hiring the hall is as follows: -
New-Member (Includes Membership Fee) £170.00
Existing Member £150.00
Children’s Party £ 60.00 (max 3 hours between 11:00 and
17:00)
A deposit of 50% of the hire fee must be paid at the time of
booking, with the balance to be paid no less than 30 (thirty) days
before the event. Where a booking is cancelled with less than 30
days notice no refund will be made. Where more than 30 days notice
is given 50% will be refunded.
A damage deposit of £200 is required for all bookings prior to, the
event taking place. This will be fully refunded provided that no
damage occurs during the event, and that the premises are left in a
presentable state at the end of the event.
Please note that due to fire regulations the hall can only
accommodate a maximum of 120 people.
Additional Charges: -
There is a corkage charge of £4.00 per bottle for wine and/or
champagne, which you provide yourself.
You may NOT
bring any
other drink onto the premises. All drink must be purchased from the
Bar.
The only exception to this is in the event of a children’s (under
11) party.
Where you wish to use confetti type decoration there will be and
additional cleaning fee of £30.
No cannon style poppers may be used, as these are a significant
health and safety hazard.
Last orders are called at 23:45 and you must clear the hall by
00:45 hours, including the bagging up of any food etc.
The booking party is responsible for the behaviour of their guests
at all times. Violent and abusive behaviour will not be tolerated
at any time. You will appreciate
that we do have neighbours and would request that your guests leave
quietly at the end of the evening.
If any children under the age of 18 are found to be drinking
alcohol, the event will immediately be shut down with no refund of
the booking fee being given.
Please check with the Manager as to what time you require entry in
order to “dress” the Hall. All decorations must be attached with
either string or blue tack. You may not use tape of any kind as
this damages the paintwork.
The Club will not hire the hall for all birthday parties where the
person celebrating is between the ages of 14 and 19 inclusive, or
where the majority of those attending are between these ages. If
any event is found, to be attended by a majority of teenagers
between these ages, the bar will be immediately closed and the
event stopped.
It is expected that all food, decorations etc will be bagged up and
removed from the hall at the end of the event. You will appreciate
that another party may be booked for the following
day/evening.
The Club cannot be held responsible for loss of or damage to any
vehicles or property whilst left on the premises.
